Penn Spinfisher VI 7500

The Penn SSVI Spinfisher is the 6th generation Spinfisher to date.

The same black and gold finish, now bolder than ever. This reel is known for its strength and durability; whether you are catching a small or large fish, there is always a reel size suitable for you.

Sizes range from 2500 to 10500. The 2500 is Penn's smallest sealed reel to date; suitable for the inshore and kayak angler - This series will also include Long Cast (LC) models in 5500, 6500, and 7500.

In addition to a Live Liner (LL) model in sizes 2500, 4500, 6500, and 8500, it is currently the only sealed Live Liner on the market! For the surf angler, Penn has added bail-less models in 4500 or 6500.

These reels feature a full metal side plate and body on all models for maximum durability. CNC Gearing has also been incorporated into this reel; sizes 5500 and smaller use a machined aluminum main gear, while the 6500 and up models are equipped with a machined brass main gear.

The new VI series also features a higher ingress protection rating, the IPX5 sealing system. This sealing system is used on many marine electronics and iPhones. HT-100 is the drag system in the spool.

The HT stands for High Tech, and the 100 indicates the number of miles you can travel without changing or destroying the drag system in this reel.
