In recent years, the Slow Jigging technique has evolved, and thanks to this model, you can control the jig at will, improving your jerking action. This model pursues balance so that the fulcrum of the curve shifts toward the handle, thereby reducing the load and fatigue on the angler. The action design allows for easy management of changes in jig resistance and currents, enabling very precise movements. The flex of the two-piece joint has been carefully studied to achieve the strength and action of a one-piece rod. Building on the slow style typical of Slow Jigging, which emphasizes the falling action of the metal jig, Shimano has added the ability to comfortably manage various types of action, from slow to fast, including combinations of jerks that skillfully vary the speed of the metal jig. The blank features a construction with Hi-Power X and Spiral X systems, which ensure sufficient strength and completely suppress unpleasant sensations like twisting and power loss. The Full Holding Seat reel seat allows for a perfect grip and excellent stability when holding the reel; furthermore, thanks to the use of Ci4+ carbon-reinforced material, weight is significantly reduced and sensitivity is improved. The guides are lightweight double-foot rings with stainless steel frames and SiC rings.
