DAIWA's new J-Braid Expedition is the latest milestone in the renowned J-Braid series.

This high-quality braided fishing line is made from premium Japanese Izanas fibers and impresses with an exceptionally tight weave that is rounder and more uniform than most other lines on the market.

The J-Braid family grows even further with the new J-BRAID EXPEDITION. Made with the same IZANAS fiber that made J-Braid so popular, it now incorporates Daiwa's Silicon “Coating PE” technology, which creates a smoother, slicker braid with hydrophobic properties that increase durability and improve sensitivity.

J-BRAID EXPEDITION's silicone coating prevents the braid from absorbing water. This means, importantly, that it will also not absorb mud or sediment present in the water, which are the main causes of braid wear over time. Thanks to its hydrophobic properties, J-BRAID EXPEDITION repels water, ensuring a longer lifespan than traditional braids, offering more value and better performance.

But the benefits don't end there: thanks to an incredibly dense weave, J-BRAID EXPEDITION is processed tighter than almost any other line on the market, offering a braid with an incredibly round profile that does not separate or fray during use. Daiwa's tradition of producing the best braids on the market is further strengthened with the introduction of J-BRAID EXPEDITION.
