229 Series

Black chrome finish. Medium-shank hook with a square shape. Like the 129 series, it features a small eye instead of a spade to facilitate tying. Made of medium-gauge, very robust wire, it is particularly suitable for very large and hard-fighting fish. Widely used for Surf Casting and also Lake Trout fishing, as the very fine eye allows for a knot that includes a bait-securing tag.
