The base portion, just above the reel seat, is wrapped in crossed carbon bands, which increase responsiveness and enhance the sensitivity of the entire blank.

Tataki rigs with various jigs can guarantee great fun and a decent number of squid catches. And in the case of multiple catches, the rods are subject to great pressure, also due to the braided line, but the SiC guides with K-frame and CX-1 carbon blank perform their job excellently.
