The Badrod XPP has a real casting weight of 220 grams, which can safely be considered effective and understated, a length of 4.30 meters, and sensitivity that is decidedly out of the ordinary, provided by a latest-generation solid carbon tip that is spine-free and just the right amount of responsive. Using the new Toray carbon, we were able to incorporate all the technology needed to stay in the water correctly under any sea or wind conditions and cast with the full weight available without any worries.

The rod can be purchased mounted with the new Fuji components (butt cap, reel seat, and K-series guides) which we recommend, or naked to allow for any customization. A three-piece rod with "distributed power" – a term often used today to describe a surf rod, though the exact definition is “distribution of power across the sections,” a design feature and related manufacturing process that, thanks to the specific arrangement of the composite materials used and their mechanical properties, allows for a different response to stress in the various sections that make up the rod: butt, mid, and tip.
