Yamashita Shock Absorber Elastics

This transparent elastic is indispensable when fishing with feeders or heavy weights in combination with thin hooklinks.

Its purpose is to cushion the violent headshakes of large fish: without this measure, the impact against the fixed weight of the feeder would almost certainly cause the line to break. By placing the elastic between the main line and the hooklink, this risk is eliminated, protecting the integrity of the rig.
