What may look like a “simple shad” at first glance is the result of mechanical and hydrodynamic research that makes it a silicone lure capable of swimming in extreme conditions, while still activating immediately at low speeds. Thanks to its inverted paddle, it maintains perfect swimming action at high retrieve speeds, even staying in the strike zone when other similar products tend to roll over. But that’s not all; the Master Shad performs well in strong currents, which also makes it ideal for fishing in rivers, streams, or in situations with river mouths and strong undertow.

The compound used for the bodies of the Master Shad has been specifically developed to achieve a particularly dense body. It is this body density that differentiates this lure from every other shad on the market, even from our inimitable Black Minnow. The reason is simple: only with a much denser compound were we able to create a compact lure that can move a large amount of water and create incredible turbulence, even in smaller sizes or at particularly slow retrieve speeds. The compact body and the tail, which is less prone to folding in on itself, make the Master Shad highly castable, resulting in better accuracy on long casts.
