In direct contrast to the Black Minnow, which is effective because of its natural presentation, the Master Shad is the perfect lure for attracting predators hunting in murky water, low-light conditions, rough seas, and surf. What may look like a "simple shad" at first glance is the result of mechanical and hydrodynamic research that makes it a silicone lure capable of swimming in extreme conditions, while still activating immediately at low speeds. Thanks to its inverted paddle, it maintains a perfect swimming action at high retrieval speeds, remaining effective even when other similar products tend to spin. But that’s not all; the Master Shad performs well in strong currents, making it ideal for fishing in rivers, streams, or in situations with strong outflows and undertows.

The rubber compound used to produce the Master Shad bodies has been specifically developed to achieve a particularly dense body. This body density distinguishes this lure from every other shad on the market, including our inimitable Black Minnow. The reason is simple: only with a much denser compound were we able to create a compact lure that can move a large amount of water and create incredible turbulence, even in smaller sizes or during particularly slow retrieves. The compact body and the tail, which is less prone to folding over itself, make the Master Shad highly castable, resulting in better accuracy on long casts.
