At the heart of this power is the Carbonite Dual Force Drag (DFD) system, which maximizes drag pressure by utilizing both sides of the spool, reaching an impressive maximum drag force of 20 kg. The system is protected by the Hydro Block seal and lubricated with Cal’s drag grease, ensuring stability and smoothness. The Gear Stabilization design supports the pinion gear at three points, maintaining perfect alignment even under heavy loads.

To withstand marine environments, the Salina is equipped with 6 high-performance stainless steel ball bearings (HPB) and benefits from the CRC (Corrosion Resistant Coating) treatment. The Even Flow Roller (EFR II) system with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating reduces line friction and prevents wear.
