The slim, tapered shape of AFTCO's aluminum gaffs makes them incredibly fast in the water, easy to maneuver, and amazingly precise. They are also stronger and lighter, so they bring fish into the boat with less commotion and confusion. The shafts are made of corrosion-resistant marine-grade aluminum and are swaged to ensure uniform strength from one end to the other, without adding unnecessary weight. Available in our classic rich gold color, they are anodized for lasting beauty and increased resistance to marine corrosion.

All models feature soft yet rugged black grips made of the same non-slip material found on high-quality fishing rods. Vinyl butt caps seal out corrosive moisture and prevent scarring on the deck. The letter "L" indicates a tube outside diameter of 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) at the butt, while all other models have an outside diameter of 1 inch (2.5 cm).
