If you already use an SLX, you will certainly appreciate the increased range of adjustments and the convenience offered by the SVS Infinity system. Adjusted by an external dial, you have almost infinite braking adjustment at your fingertips, which allows you to truly fine-tune your casting performance, especially with lighter lures where only minimal brake pressure is required.
Like all SLX models, the "XT" uses a high-end HAGANE body made of lightweight aluminum, which is surprising for a reel in this price range. This offers a significant performance advantage over inferior composite-bodied reels, as a strong and rigid body works more effectively under pressure. And you will certainly appreciate the reel during retrieval for the slightly longer handle, ideal for applying pressure to a powerful fish.
