The larger 2-speed Tyrnos (II) models are the perfect reels if you are fishing in deep oceans for very large fish or drifting in the Mediterranean. In their fastest setting, they can retrieve leads from the bottom at up to 115 cm per handle turn, but with a simple press of a button, they seamlessly transform into impressive power machines, capable of pulling up the meanest conger eel or the largest tuna. However, if you are looking for something lighter to use for jigging, lighter bottom fishing, or trolling, check out the smaller single-speed versions, which are just as fast, hold huge amounts of line (mono or braid), and will give you a lifetime of pleasure and trouble-free use.
